WHAT'S UP |
|
You guys are killing me with this new site. I will now have to spend twice as much time punching in my reports. You probably do not fully appreciate how long it takes me to type(old school hunt and peck style), not to mention check my spelling and grammar before posting a topic or you would feel my pain more.

| | How many deer so far this year Tony? |
I shot 4 does so far this year, 2 with my bow and 2 with my muzzleloader. I never take more than one doe off of any single property that I have permission to hunt on so they were all from different parts of the state. 2 of those deer I took on 2 different properties for the respective landowners who have given me permission to hunt, the other 2 were for my freezer and off of different properties. I have one more landowner to satisfy with a doe and then I will have taken one off of each of the properties I hunt so I will be done shooting baldies for the year. I would like to put a buck in the freezer before the season is done but if I don't I have plenty of meat from the 2 fine ladies I took for myself. I had shots at 4 smaller bucks during the bow season and 1 during gun but pased on all of them waiting for a older buck to show himself. I flirted with 2 different wall hangers during bow that just never gave me a clean shot oppurtunity. Saw more deer this year on the properties I hunt than I have ever seen before. The herd in my areas is definitely way up. Did you get out at all?
