I hope I never have to tow someone but it is a very kind gesture to give to someone stranded on the water. Kudos my friend.

A good deed never goes unpaid. We were out in late May and saw three guys trying to get the boat started. We watched for a few minutes and soon the engine cover came of, and then a few minutes later, it was back on. And there the boat sat.
we went over to see if we could help. Luckily we did , the motor was unreaipaeble on the water and two out of the three guys on board were heart patirents and didn't have their meds with them. About ten minutes later we had them safely tied up at the ramp they had launched from.
They offered to pay me for the tow and I told them No, thank you, just pay me back by helping someone else when they can.

Good things hapeen when you treat others with kindness. When we had a major Oh-oh on the water we were able to raise a friend on VHF and get towed back to the ramp.

I call it boaters code, and on the water we are all friends, no matter the type of boat or the reason you are on the water, boaters help other boaters always Smile

You hit the nail right on the head BD! I like to think that karma has a little bit to do with it too. I've towed a few people into port. All in a days work for a good boater.
