Members of the TRAA-(Thames Rivers Anglers Association) had the opportunity today to go out and try to collect some Rainbow Eggs for the Hatchery. They were not successful on one body of water so they went to another area where the results was incredible. I must say first it was very nice to meet a few members who are also skunked members off this site. There was Bryan C. (Big Bri) Bobby (Bobbyhandcuffs), and Chris (Steelchaser), Jeremy (Beats) and a couple of more. As you will see by the pictures it was a successful day, and I was impressed that there was all kinds of yr classes in Browns and Bows.....Enjoy......Jim

Was a good day, and it was nice to have meet some more Skunked members who care and want to make a difference to the fisheries in the Thames River Watershed. Every little bit helps...........Jim

Very nice to see such a diversity of sizes, just goes to show that the Thames isn't just a toilet after all.
Now what was the name of that creek in case the fish aren't feeling co-operative tomorrow afternoon at Komoka Bridge.

nice meeting a few of the skunk guys that came out yesterday.. I left after the first creek.. looks like it was more productive at the sec creek.

I really wish I could become a member it looks like you guys have a heck of a lot of fun, but right now I just live to far from London. Perhaps if I end up moving to London or St. T this summer I may join but not right now. Hey Always Topless could you put up a link to the club site for me.

saw an mnr enforcement vehicle heading through byron towards kilworth/komoka after the electrofishing yesterday. wonder if they were heading down to check the half dozen vehicles i saw parked around the komoka bridge.

Don't Worry Sprackers Were fine. They just go down there once in a while to check licenses, and to make their presence felt. They look for people targeting Walleye and Bass. I was stopped last spring at the bridge before I started and they asked what I'd be fishing for, I told them Bows, and they said your aware Pickerel are out of season, I said yes sir o be honest with you sir if I caught a Pickerel in here I'd give it a big kiss and put it back.
Besides today mostly I want some Sucker Spawn, for the opener.

How do you fish for the suckers, what bait etc.

Sounds good I got a small box of worms yesterday so will bring them with me. Do you just float fish for them or bottom fish. Are there carp resent also.
